Adult Tournament

The Adult tournament kicks-off at 5am Saturday June 6th.  Teams of up to 4 anglers may leave from the dock of their choice so long as they are able to return to the Hurricane Junction by the conclusion of the weigh-in, which runs from 3:30pm to 5:30pm.  The tournament is open to anyone looking for a reason to fish and would like to support a great school in OLV. 

Teams can enter the tournament by following the "Entry Form" link under the Adult Tournament link.  The entry fee has been set at $45 per adult angler and includes a tournament cap and a meal ticket for the Fish Fry that will follow the tournament.  Pre-registration is highly encouraged so that we can ensure adequate supplies are on hand to feed and hydrate our anglers after the tournament.  Youth (14 years and younger) are encouraged to participate on the teams.  They will not be charged an entry fee, but will not recieve the tournament cap or meal ticket that comes with the fee.

  • Heaviest Stringer of no more than 5 trout, 2 redfish, and one flounder 

Tournament Side Pots

OLV Fishing Tournament will put 10% of the total pot towards the benefit

Pay out: 1st=60%, 2nd=30%, 3rd=10%

  • Heaviest Trout - $50
  • Heaviest Redfish - $50
  • Heaviest Stringer of no more than 5 trout, 2 redfish, and one flounder - $50
  • Most spots on a Redfish - $10 (Winner takes all)
  • Blackjack trout - $10 (Winner takes all)

A complete list of tournament rules can be linked from the main menu and the FAQ link has been set up to clarify questions as they arise.  An informal Captain's meeting will be held Friday evening prior to the tournament at Document Solutions Inc., 6412 North Navarro (across from Montana Mike's), to allow teams to register, enter pots, seek clarifiction to any tournament events, and begin enjoying the weekend.
