Kids' Fish

  

Last year the students that took part in the Kids' Fish had a wonderful time. Everyone got to feel what is was like to have fish on the end of their line and reel it in. In 2009 we are looking to build on that success.

The Kids' Fish will be held at the Little Jetties in Port O'Connor at the corner of West Commerce and South Park Street.  It is scheduled to overlap the weigh-in of the adult tournament so that everyone finishes up in time for the fish fry.  The Kids' Fish is open to anyone old enough to hold a fishing pole.  Children may bring their own rods and tackle if they like, but everything needed is provided (including someone to bait the  hooks and remove the fish). The little fishermen get a prize for every fish they catch and grand prizes will be awarded at the end of the tournament for the largest fish, smallest fish, and most fish in each age category.

After the Kids' Fish everyone is encouraged to stick around for the adult tournament weigh-in, auction, and fish fry.

 Participants are encourage to register for the Kid's Fish by following the "Entry Form" link on the main menu.  Pre-Registration is not manditory but does help us ensure adequate supplies and help are on hand.  We hope to see you there.
